Greek political leaders meeting delayed till 3pm Athens time from the noon schedule, I’m being told by a UK clearer, but haven’t clocked it anywhere just yet…. Either way EUR/USD’s slipping on the talk…  down to 1.3260 UPDATE: rumour confirmed on Greek TV  (Thanks Steve)

This is what i’ve cobbled together  …. EUR/USD:  Barrier up at 1.3300 offers ahead of it from  1.3280 (BIS included as well as large German bank rumoured to be protecting the barrier). Above here are offers 1.3330/35 which includes the 100 day MA at 1.3334.  Haven’t found anything on the downside of significance just yet. GBP/USD:  [...]

EUR/USD sits at 1.3267,  3 pips down from when I first arrived.  Market scuttlebutt has the “Big German” protecting the 1.3300 barrier interest. I’m off.  Joe “the informer”  Brown will keep you well-informed no doubt Cheerio y’all

It’s a headline being run by a newswire apparently,  pertaining to a story in FT Deutschland. UPDATE:  Here’s the link Slight dip in EUR/USD on the news, but not much. We’re at 1.3265. Think market’s all Greeced-out……..

Buy stops I mentioned recently through 1.2110 have been tripped and we’ve been as high as 1.2127 so far, presently at 1.2118. I for one am mighty relieved 1.2000 held firm. You have no idea what a raft of shit I’ll get from Jamie if 1.2000 ever gives out.

Cable touch firmer in early trade, 200 dma looms

Cable up at 1.5920 from 1.5905 when I first sat down. The 200 dma looms up at 1.5937. Unsurprisingly, talk of sell orders clustered up at  1.5925/35 ahead of it. I have no confirmation as yet, but I’d hazard a guess they’ll be buy stops gathering  not far north of said level as well Ohhh, [...]

EUR/USD sits at 1.3267, some 3 pips lower than when I parked my bum in what has been a slow start to the European session. Barrier option interest well-touted up at 1.3300. Mutterings of BIS sales into early rallyette which got as high as 1.3286.  Only another hour to go for me
